This boat is at preliminary design stage. It is an 11m low drag catamaran for inland waterways to be powered by Oceanvolts Dual AXC10 propulsion system. Two inboard electric motors give a combined power of 20kw. With a 21kwh battery pack the boat has a range of 15 miles at a speed of 5.5 knots on a single charge. The range extends to 29 miles with speed at 4.5 knots. Charging is through shore power, solar panels and when needed can be topped up with a backup generator.
